I consider myself to be a stickler when it comes to customer service.  I have been in this industry (who isn’t really) for 20 + years and have come to find out it is a lost art!  What is so ironic is, it’s probably the easiest thing to do when it comes to gaining and maintaining a customer! 

Our experience with Simplicity Sofas was perfect from the beginning to the end!  It was easy to order, communication was there, the sofa was delivered when you said it would, it took me 3 minutes to put it together and it looks great!  We could not have been happier!  Even ordering the material samples was a breeze and those came in the mail within a few days.  You really have a fantastic product and an excellent ability to market it.  If you ever need a reference please feel free to use us!

I LOVEmy Simplicity Sofa!!!!! It is beautiful. My father loves it too ( I purchased it for him).

To be honest, I was hesitant to purchase something sight unseen but this is the best piece of furniture I have ever owned. I could not believe that it actually fit through the door. The fabric is beautiful. From start to finish, every moment of the transaction has been so simple, honest and picture perfect customer service that I cannot think of anything to improve.

Please know I am also going to send a personal thank you note to Mr. Frank and to Mr. Burns, the upholster who worked on my couch. Special thanks to your white glove service too. The persons delivering the couch were so nice and professional.

I appreciate you reaching out directly to your customers! It is rare, as a consumer, to feel that a company has my satisfaction as it's top priority. I can say that I was very skeptical of purchasing a sofa on line. I was equally skeptical of purchasing a "build your own" sofa because I have looked at the other options on the market and found the quality to be very poor.

However, I found myself in a situation dealing with a difficult entryway to a basement living room and felt that your sofa was the only cost-effective option I had. Even with my skepticism I was very impressed with your product and your customer service. The representative I spoke to when placing my order was friendly and informative, the sofa was delivered exactly when you said it would be, and the assembly was just as easy as advertised.

As for the quality of the sofa there is no comparison to be made between the high quality of your product and the other "press-board" options on the market. Thank you for following up with me in person and thank you for a great purchasing experience!

Well the furniture is out of the box and has made it up to our 3rd floor bonus room. We've tested it out and love it. (Husband, two girls, 14 and 9, and all my 14-year-old's friends!)

The workmanship and material quality is definitely first class. It was, indeed, easy to put together. The packaging was superb also, i.e. the long corrugated corners, plastic bags, and heavy corrugated boxes. Without all that there would have been a problem for sure since the boxes came off the delivery truck extremely dusty/dirty. I had to vacuum them off before opening so as not to get the new furniture dirty. I do believe it was the deliverer's truck, not your fault.

All in all, my husband is very picky about quality and he even agreed that your product is exquisite. Customer service was great also, both by phone and email. Thank you for taking the time to answer and ask questions.

I must say also, that I had never heard of your company or any other Ready-to-assemble furniture companies. I found you by Google search, something like 'upholstered furniture you put together.' Luckily, you were the first company I clicked on because EVERY other company offered what looked like junk. I would've given up on finding something even usable. I don't know who buys their stuff.

I definitely would recommend you to everyone I know. I honestly can't think of any way you could improve, except maybe the price, but wouldn't we all love more for less! Really, I think it was fairly priced. As a matter of fact, we're still thinking of getting an armchair. Thank you and keep up the great work. I'm so glad I didn't end up having to put futons up there.

The previous reviewer wanted to hear from an actual customer, and that's me, so here is the story of THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

The back story: I ordered the full-sized Lorelei sofa and, as promised, it arrived in four weeks and took less than 15 minutes for me to assemble. It looks gorgeous, and you'd never think it can be disassembled. However, it looked like they sent seat cushions for a shorter sofa, and there was a bit of a gap in between the cushions.

I called the company and not only did they say they'd make new ones, but rather than have me wait for them to ship to my house, the PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY HIMSELF (that would be Jeff) would deliver them to my place on a Sunday because he had family that lives in the area.

As promised, he showed up when he said he would, and exchanged the too-short cushions for new ones that he had tested in the factory on a similar couch. I didn't realize he was making a 600 mile round trip to deliver my cushions.

People, this kind of customer service is so rare. This company clearly stands behind its products. If you need furniture, but you need to squeeze it through a narrow hallway or small elevator, these sofas will fit. Not only that, but you'll be buying them from a company that treats its customers with kindness and respect. I'm happy to recommend Simplicity Sofas to everyone I know, and everyone looking this up on Yelp. Jeff didn't pay me to write this :)

One of the reasons we ordered from Simplicity Sofas was the excellent reputation you have for customer service. You have proven it was all quite true. I am very impressed that you took the time to respond to my email and with your policies about such shipping situations. I will give Jenny a call tomorrow.

We did assemble our furniture yesterday. My husband assembled it to surprise me, and it took him about 15 minutes to do TWO pieces. I had expected one of those couples-therapy assembly sessions, but this was a delight! The furniture far exceeds my expectations even though I had asked some pretty thorough questions before even ordering.

The fabrics are beautiful, and it is amazingly comfortable. I thought we would have to "settle" a bit on comfort to be able to get any kind of upholstered pieces into our basement, but this couch and chair and a half are WONDERFUL. And we didn't have to remove door jams or pray that a custom ordered "standard furniture" piece would make it around corners or down the stairs.

I posted a picture of the new furniture for my Facebook friends telling them how great it is and sharing your company link. I don't think I have ever posted anything about products or companies before. (My friends thanked me for the tip on furniture that fits into odd places and "liked" the look of the furniture!) All this was before I saw or read your email about the shipping concern.

We assembled the apartment sofa and love seat. They are both wonderful. Everything about this purchase has lived up to our very high expectations.

We are very pleased with the furniture. As soon as the cabinet guy and plumber finish up, we will have a wonderful basement space that includes two of your pieces. We have moved around many times for career opportunities. I have purchased furniture from many retailers in many venues. This purchase has been the most satisfying to date.

What you say on the website is all true. The furniture is well constructed and easy to assemble. The style and fabric choices are excellent. The customer service is phenomenal. Wow! It’s here! On time. It arrived shortly after 1:00 PM and by 1:45 I was sitting on it! They delivered it to my garage and I single handedly moved it into the house through the tight doorway to the room where it is now residing. Mind you I am 5’1” and weigh 123 lbs. I love it!

I received my sofa on Thursday, June 14th. While I anticipated a quick and uncomplicated assembly, I never envisioned how extremely easy it would be to assemble the sofa. It took just a few minutes - 5 or 6 at the most. The longest part was separating everything from its protective packaging!. That, however, is not a complaint.

I was pleased to see that everything was well-wrapped. I'm particularly impressed at the thickness of the cushions. I was a bit worried because I chose not to upgrade the cushions when I ordered; but the "standard" cushions are obviously high-quality. I've paid far more for far less. Overall, I can tell that this is a quality product that will last well beyond the factory-produced sofas offered at furniture stores. I rate the sofa an A+. It's simply a fantastic product.

The cushion cover arrived the other day -- I've not take a minute to give it a test run or match up, but I'll do it this evening.

I'm astounded by your customer service and product quality! We have several pieces of your furniture and are very pleased with their comfort, construction and performance. Best of all, each piece easily fit through the very narrow doorways of a 110 year old home. Once assembled, they look as if they were delivered fully intact. Our guests often ask, "How did you fit that sofa (or chair) through the room's doorway?"

In fact, this is a true story...one night at about 2:45 a.m. our alarm system went off and the police arrived moments after. We asked them to check the basement area where our family room is located because the alarm panel indicated an open entry point there. As the officers walked down the basement stairs which are very narrow and preceded by a 24" doorway, they turned and called up the stairs, "How did you fit this sofa down here?" Before checking for an intruder, they just had to know how we fit the sofa down there! We often laugh about it years later.

The sofa, chair and ottoman we purchased were for our attic, which we just remodeled. We were a little behind on the remodeling, so didn’t get the furniture up there and put together until last Sunday. My husband and I wanted to be sure that we told you just how much we LOVE IT!!!

First and foremost, it is beautiful, well-made and very comfortable. I was really impressed with the quality. Second, it was so easy to put together. No tools necessary, and as you guys say in your advertising, even an 8 year old can do it. My husband commented that it was way easier than furniture you get at discount places.

So bottom line, we are absolutely thrilled with Simplicity Sofa, and have been recommending it to all of our friends. The customer service was AMAZING from the beginning; incredibly responsive and helpful. I wish I had something to tell you needed improvement, but I can’t think of a SINGLE thing!!!

Today, the "white glove movers" delivered my couch, chair, ottoman and pillows without any problem whatsoever and with a much earlier delivery date than I anticipated.
They did not bash my walls or hit the low ceiling while bringing the furniture in. They were very gracious and were able to put the furniture together in a very short period of time.

First let me say that your customer service is undeniably the best I have ever had. I felt that we were taken care and never needed to worry about a thing. To me that is a huge deal considering we ordered a sofa on line never having seen or touched it.

As far as the furniture we love it. It was so easy to put it together just as you said. I bribed a few women with coffee to help me get it upstairs and within 10 minutes we had the entire thing put together.

The fabric is so soft and comfortable. I know you said that I was the 1st order for that fabric so now you can let others know. So again thank you so much for everything. In such a tight space I never thought it was possible to have a comfortable sofa and chair in the playroom. PS Thanks for the pillows!!! You guys are awesome!

I apologize for not writing last night. I absolutely love the sofa! It literally went together in 10 minutes. It is perfect for our motorhome and went through the door very easily. I can't imagine why anyone would pay the price for "RV" sofas when these are much nicer, plus they wanted to charge us $900 just to get an RV sofa installed. This is the perfect solution.

I'm very impressed with the design and the quality. And customer service….wow! From the first email I have been impressed by the integrity of the company. I cannot think of one thing I would suggest changing. I have told all my friends about your company.
