Who is Simplicity Sofas?
Simplicity Sofas is a manufacturer of high quality Ready-To-Assemble (RTA) upholstered furniture. All products are patented and exclusive to us. We manufacture our furniture in High Point, North Carolina, the furniture capital of the USA.
 
 
How is Simplicity Sofas different?
Simplicity Sofas upholstered furniture is shipped flat in two or three cartons. The customer puts the furniture together in 5-15 minutes without tools. In addition, some of our styles are unique designs available only through us.
 
 
Is it really easy to assemble?
Yes! Normally, it takes two people five to ten minutes to assemble a sofa. (The factory record for two people assembling a sofa is 54 seconds) It takes about twice as long for a single person. We have tested the ease of our assembly process by having a 13 year old assemble a sofa on his own in less than 7 minutes! The instructions are very simple. No tools are needed
 
 
Will I be able to tell the difference between Simplicity Sofas and a conventional quality sofa?
  • In terms of comfort, our products are made using the same high quality materials as premium upholstered furniture. We use only solid hardwood frames -- no plywood or particle board. Try our premium down-blend cushions for truly superior seating comfort.
 
  • When ordered with a slip cover, our furniture is indistinguishable from conventional products. If you do not order a slip cover, you may be able to see a difference in the back. (It will look similar to a recliner back.)
 
 
 
Does Simplicity Sofas really manufacture the furniture?
Yes, we manufacture all of Simplicity Sofa’s furniture in High Point, North Carolina, the furniture capital of the USA.
 
 
What's the difference between Simplicity Sofas and other Internet furniture retailers?
Many internet retailers claim that they offer “factory – direct” pricing. While they might save you money compared to conventional retailers, they still add on their retailer’s “markup.” Because Simplicity Sofas, Inc. is the furniture manufacturer, we have no retail markup. We deliver direct to you from our factory floor. There are no stops in between. No stores, No hassles, No phony sales.
 
 
What’s the difference between Simplicity Sofas and other sofa brands?
  • Our furniture uses only solid hardwood frames – no plywood, particle board or chip core. Our frames are warranteed for life.
 
  • Our cushions use only premium Dacron wrapped 1.8 density polyfoam cushions with a 5 year warranty. We do not vacuum pack or compress our cushions for shipment. That breaks down the foam and reduces the life of the furniture.
 
  • Our suspension system utilizes polypropylene webbing – the same type used by expensive upholstered furniture manufacturers when 8 way hand tied coils are unsuitable due to the use of low profile designs. We do not use zig-zag springs, flexalators, plywood boards or other cheap alternatives.
 
  • Most of our fabrics are 100% cottons, soft and natural. We also offer microfiber synthetic suedes. Look at our “Specials” section for “closeout” fabric values.
 
  • Customers Own Material (COM) are also welcome
 
  • We offer custom options such as tailored slip covers, down-blend cushions, and a “fabric protection” program.
 
 
 
Are there any stores that sell your furniture?
  • We have one factory outlet showroom located at 2726 English Rd. High Point, NC 27262. Simplicity Sofas was created specifically to serve the Internet community.
 
 
 
What sets simplicitysofas.com apart from other online furniture websites?
  • Simplicity Sofas manufactures the highest quality Ready –To– Assemble upholstered furniture available. There are a few competitors making upholstered furniture made with particle board that takes two hours to assemble, but there is nothing approaching the quality level of Simplicity Sofas
 
  • We make moderately priced, high quality upholstered furniture that is specifically designed for people on the move who will be transporting their furniture, homeowners with narrow doors or tight stairways which most full sized sofas will not fit through, and apartment dwellers who cope with cramped elevators and narrow doorways. The furniture ships flat in two or three boxes and can be assembled in five to fifteen minutes without tools. When assembled, the furniture looks and feels like premium upholstered furniture. You cannot tell that it has been assembled.

When you place an order with simplicitysofas.com, we utilize a secure server. Taking advantage of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, we ensure the security of your online transaction. The industry standard for encryption, SSL technology creates a secure transaction environment for commerce on the Internet.
 
 
How will I know when you’ve received my order?
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email listing your complete order by the end of the same business day. We will also call you to personally verify your order, answer any questions you may have, and collect payment information for verification purposes.
 
 
Do you charge sales tax?
Simplicity Sofas, Inc. is a North Carolina licensed business, and therefore is required to collect a 6.75% sales tax for all deliveries to North Carolina. We will not charge sales taxes for purchases delivered to other states. If you live outside the state of North Carolina, you need to comply with any applicable sales taxes regulations in your state
 
 
What is your cancellation and return policy
Simplicity Sofas believes in building a custom product to satisfy the customer. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you can return your purchase within 30 days of the date of delivery in the original cartons. Specials are not returnable. Customers are responsible for return freight charges only.

How long will it take for my order to ship?
Most orders will be shipped in 2-4 weeks by UPS or Federal Express Home Delivery. You will receive an email confirming your Tracking Number and contact information to help you track your shipment. If a fabric is out of stock it may take 4-6 weeks to receive your order.
 
 
Can I pick up my furniture from your manufacturing facility instead of having it shipped to me?
Yes. We welcome you to come and pick up your furniture. Please remember that we will be required to charge you North Carolina sales tax (6.75%) in that event. If you are interested in picking up your furniture instead of having it delivered, please call 1-800-813-2889 for instructions
 
 
Do you ship anywhere outside the 48 contiguous United States?
Yes. Costs will be calculated on an individual basis.
 
 
Will you help me set up my furniture?
No, but assembly takes only ten to fifteen minutes without tools. Please see our Assembly section showing how simple the process is.
 
 
Can I have my furniture delivered on Saturdays or evenings?
In some areas we can arrange Saturday or evening deliveries. Please call 1-800-813-2889 for availability and any extra costs that may be incurred.
 
 
What if my furniture arrives damaged?
Simplicity Sofas will make every effort to have minor damage repaired without returning your furniture to our manufacturing facility. However, if major damage has occurred, we will arrange furniture pick-up and return at no cost to you. We will gladly replace the damaged furniture or refund your money. If you choose to return an item in your order for a full refund, we will reimburse your credit card as soon as possible.
 
 
Should I inspect my furniture when it arrives?
Definitely. We want your furniture to be perfect when it arrives at your home. However, if there are damages, please report them immediately to simplicitysofas.com. In our experience, most furniture can be repaired on site through an independent national network of furniture repair experts. Please note that Simplicity Sofas will not be held responsible for any damage first reported to us more than 10 days after delivery.

Can I get a sample of fabric
Certainly. Just visit our fabrics page, click on a fabric to preview, then click "add swatch to cart". Note that the first five fabrics are free then you will be charged $1.00 each. If you have any difficulty ordering fabrics, please phone us 1-800-813-2889. We will send your swatches immediately. Swatch costs will be credited to orders placed within 30 days.
