Yes, the furniture arrived on Friday, a day before our party, just as you said it would! My husband was at work, so me and my 13 yr old son carried it up 2 flights of stairs, to our third floor. Being it was in pieces, we easily manuvered it up the second NARROW staircase easily. It is only 2 ft. wide. We did take it out of the boxes on the main floor. It was quite light, which made me a little worried about it's stability. But the couch and chair went together in MINUTES and is VERY sturdy!!! We love it and would highly recommend using your products to everyone. My only suggestion is better advertising, you have such a great product, I would have never been able to get full size furniture up our 120 yr old home's two foot wide "servant staircase" without you, but I almost didn't find Simpicity Sofas on my google search. I put in many, many word searches, under such things as ...small sofas, and convertable sofas, small space furniture... I don't remember what the jackpot combo was, but I'm sure glad I found it! So GREAT furniture...better advertising! As promised the sofa took very little time to assemble. The fabric is nice and the quality is good. It seems pretty comfortable too, but I just assembled it today so I haven't spent much time on it yet. Purchasing this sofa really solved my dilemma about whether a new sofa would fit into my condo, since I live in the city and the hallways and turns are pretty tight getting into the place. Yes, we received the sofa. It is beautiful, and we love it! I was amazed at the quality of the construction, and at how easy it was to put together. It took longer to unpack the pieces from the boxes than it did to assemble it. We had the whole thing together and were sitting on it in less than ten minutes. It's very comfortable, and will work well in our space. Because we are installing it on a boat, we needed something that could fit through a narrow pilot house door. We are both very pleased not to be stuck with a futon, but to have a real piece of comfortable furniture. This is the only way we could have furnished our boat, and we're glad we found your website. Yes, I received the sofa. The reason I needed this sofa was because I live in a historic area of Wilmington, DE and the homes cannot be renovated. My apartment has 24 inch doors and the only sofa we have ever been able to have is a futon. I have ordered sofas and had to leave them outside until the company could take them back after they promised me it would fit! The last one was delivered in the pouring rain and the delivery people couldn't get it in the door. The 3 boxes went right in the door and right in the living room. It took me about 15 minutes to put together, most of that time was just getting it out of the box (I did it myself. The sofa looks nice and is comfortable. I think this is a great idea. I know A LOT of people who have the same problem I do with finding furniture to fit in housing like mine. The furniture arrived today, all pieces in good condition. The furniture in sections is about the only thing that could work for us. Houses from the 1700's were built with small doorways and narrow staircases. The counselors who have seen the furniture so far have all loved it. Jeff, First off I am not at all used to this kind of direct and personal communication from a company I do business with. In a word AMAZING. Let me summarize why I say that. 1. It arrived on time, and UPS called for delivery. 2. It arrived in perfect condition. We opened boxes and took pieces up to the new "media" room. Easy to get in. The all is too narrow for standard sofa and the room is not large. 3. First I thought, "no way this can be strong and comfortable." Man was I surprised. I saw the one page directions and said to my wife, "you have to be kidding. I expected a 20 page instruction book." Fact is one does not need anything. 4. It went together, by myself in 20 minutes. I was worried thinking the back is not going to be strong until I saw the brackets to lock into. OK, I put it together, it is solid as a rock. It is comfortable for sure. AND MOST OF ALL, it is beautiful in the room. Jeff, I don't know who came up with this design but honestly for places where space is very tight, this is an amazing solution. I cannot say after 8 hours how it will hold up but what I sense it that it is well built, strong and very thought through. OK, get the idea we are pleased? Right idea. You can quote me! A delightful, lovely piece of furniture that goes together in a truly amazing way. Should any problems arise we will let you know. But I do not anticipate any at all.

It arrived in boxes that my husband and I could easily carry and we assembled the 2 chairs-and-a half and the apartment sized sofa in our living room in a matter of about 1/2 hour. The wallpaper is gone, the walls are painted, and the sofa is now put together. I am very pleased with the way it looks. The cushions might be a tad firm for me, but since I'm in an older demographic, they will work well for some of my friends and family. I was very surprised how easy the sofa was to put together. I live in a regular house: but I'm at a point where I prefer furniture that I can move myself if I need to. I still want it to feel sturdy and this sofa does. I am very pleased with my new furniture and so is my 14 yo daughter (the chair and a half was bought for her - and she dubs it exactly right!) It only took me about 30-45 minutes to get both pieces put together. The seat and back cushions are very firm, but we have had the experience of a new piece of furniture needing to be "broke in" and I think softer cushions might wear out faster. The color of the denim is beautiful. It is not as dark as I thought it would be based on the second swatch you sent me now that I see it on the furniture but the throw pillows in tan with the denim cord do lighten it even more. (thank you for those) I am really impressed with the quality of the workmanship. The pieces are solid and well crafted. The seams are also strong. And, the customer service has been outstanding. Overall an A++ online shopping experience and I admit to having some worry having never purchased furniture sight unseen let alone online. I think I am going to order a pair of ottomans to go with these pieces. If I want them to match is there enough fabric from that die lot to be able to do that. The sofas are great � I�m very pleased with the quality and the ease of assembly. We are using these in a large recreation room the the second floor of our home... It is up a flight of steps and then a sharp turn. This is the reason I was looking for a sofa that could be shipped in pieces. I thought we would need some help to move and assemble it but my husband and I did it ourselves � he�s 71 and I�m 64! We�re both extremely fit ---but still. Thank you for your e-mail. Yes, I received the chair. Although where we live was an issue with delivery, that wasn't anything to do with your service. ( far off the road with the delivery truck unable to come in our drive). My husband put the chair together easily. He actually doesn't usually comment on these types of issues, but he complimented the quality of your furniture. I think since it was "put it together", he was expecting "Target" quality. The chair is lovely. We have a wood spiral stair that presents a problem with getting new furniture into a large upstairs. These products are perfect for such placement. My furniture arrived this (Sunday) morning despite the unbelievably horrible weather. Everything fit in the room perfectly. My measuring and your advice worked out quite well. Classic Moving and Storage took excellent care of the furniture. They commented on how well packed and protected it was from your factory. Although they had never delivered furniture from Simplicity Sofas before they were impressed by the ease of getting it put together and NO TOOLS REQUIRED! Also, the quality and heavy weight of the furniture is impressive. One of the men went to lift the chair to place it where I wanted it but decided to wait for his partner because the chair was too heavy to be safely lifted by one person (actually, it slides easily enough but he was protective of my hard wood floor)! All-in-all, I am certainly very pleased with my purchase. Classic Moving and Storage is also a class act. While it is true that UPS delivers faster, the wait for Classic Moving and Storage was worth it. They use extreme care, and take away all packing debris. I can definitely highly recommend them. We finally got our sofa on Friday (UPS freight was really thrown for a loop with the weather; they missed their first appointment almost two weeks ago, and wouldn't set another one before Friday). Luckily, we had put our party off two weeks, and we got it just in time. We enjoyed showing it off to the roughly 50 people who were here. The sofa is beautiful. It was, as promised, extremely easy to put together (and my petite wife and I had no problem carrying the largest piece up the stairs. The fabrics (Diego Saddle Leather and Ultra Suede Patchwork) are lovely, with excellent texture. Anyway, we do really like the sofa and think it is a terrific value for the money we spent. Also, I have to say that your customer service is excellent; your company is a pleasure to deal with. And we're grateful that your sales department recommended the Patchwork pillows to go with our sofa -- they make the piece really look and feel great. I had some reservations about purchasing a sofa I had never seen or felt in person; I decided to buy because of the terrific reviews I found on the internet (and the way you describe your manufacturing process). I am really glad I did. But if you ever have any prospects in the DC area (we're way out west) who would like to see and touch one of your sofas before buying, please do put them in touch with me. Hi Jeff- Thanks for checking in. Classic Moving did a fantastic job. They scheduled a delivery date about a week in advance and called the morning of to confirm that they were on their way. They arrived just when they said they would and were nothing but efficient and courteous. They brought the boxes up to my apartment, three flights up, quickly and were even so kind as to warn me that the stairs were a bit wet so I didn't slip. At 8 months pregnant, I was able to unwrap all of the pieces and assemble the sofa in less than 25 minutes. The quality of the materials is great and the sofa is surprisingly comfortable. The storage ottoman is roomy and makes a great addition to the sofa, much like a chaise. Though the production and shipment took a bit longer than I expected or would have liked, I have nothing but praise for Simplicity Sofas customer service, their product and their choice of shipping companies. The hardest part was getting the sofa out of the box. It was quite easy to put together. My only question was where the washer went when screwing in the arms. One seat cushion was a bit odd where the stitching was placed, but probably I would be the only one to notice it as I was the one placing the cushion on the couch � they are firm!!! Thanks so much for the quick response on all my questions and the fast turn around time.

Hello - We assembled the apartment sofa and loveseat. They are both wonderful. Everything about this purchase has lived up to our very high expectations. We are very pleased with the furniture. As soon as the cabinet guy and plumber finish up, we will have a wonderful basement space that includes two of your pieces. We have moved around many times for career opportunities. I have purchased furniture from many retailers in many venues. This purchase has been the most satisfying to date. What you say on the website is all true. The furniture is well constructed and easy to assemble. The style and fabric choices are excellent. The customer service is phenomenal. My husband is in logistics management and we are both MBAs and we are very impressed. We understand how good your business model and staff must be to pull off your operation so successfully. Talk to most RVers. They would likely agree that stock RV furniture is lacking, both in style and quality of construction. Many people wind up replacing their furniture within a year or two. Since ordering our RV we�ve learned that one usually has the option of ordering without any furniture at all (and get credited on the sale price of the RV). While we love our KZ, the living room (we call it �the great room�) furniture that came with it left much to be desired. Our sofa was definitely at the top of our short list to replace. But given the parameters of our living area and restrictions of size and weight of conventional furniture, what were we to do? In December we stumbled across the Simplicitysofas.com web site. Their products were not only intriguing from a quality standpoint but they also fit our tastes in design, fabric and color. Simplicity Sofas appeared to be constructed with small spaces in mind, to fit through narrow doorways, and to be easily assembled, which encouraged us to dig further. We ordered a catalog, some fabric samples, and exchanged emails and phone calls with the company, usually communicating directly with owner/president, Jeff Frank. Jeff was quick to respond to our every question, which left us with the impression that the company�s claim to first-rate 24/7 customer service was not sales hype. Heartening first steps. After reviewing fabric samples and discussing/measuring what would be a good fit, along with reading many positive customer experiences, we opted to take the plunge. On December 26 we ordered our �apartment� sized sofa. Mind you � we�ve never sat on a Simplicity Sofa so we were more than a little nervous about ordering furniture sight unseen � or �unsat�. We had an additional concern about ordering a sofa so close to our departure to Ecuador. Jeff assured us that even with the company�s Christmas and New Year�s holiday break schedules, it would arrive when we needed it to arrive. Jeff kept us updated on the sofa�s build process and delivery schedule via email. Sure enough, our sofa arrived from North Carolina via UPS freight in three boxes (total 160 pounds) on Friday January 22, less than a month after placing our order. Prior to its arrival we found a home for our less than year-old RV sofa. Another couple in our RV park was looking to replace their aged sofa and were delighted to receive ours. Our one condition: in lieu of any payment to us, that they make a donation to a Haitian earthquake relief organization of their choice to which they heartily agreed. Simplicity Sofa stated that their sofas are built using solid oak frames and may be assembled in less than fifteen minutes. Too good to be true? It took less than ten minutes to EASILY move the three pieces into the RV and assemble them following clear and concise instructions�without any tools. The frame is solid and well built as opposed to the stapled-together sofa that started to fall apart the moment we levered it out the door. Not only does the fabric look and feel great, it�s very comfortable to sit on. Add some throw pillows and we�re good to go. It took far longer to cut up the cardboard shipping boxes for recycling! So what did we give up by making the swap? The old sofa had a slide out drawer for under-seat storage. However, the drawer was unwieldy to open and close and because it had already had come off one of the two rails, it was pretty useless. And we didn�t need the storage space anyway. The sofa folded out to accommodate an air mattress but when it was open, it took up too much space. The new sofa is not a sleeper sofa but we kept the air mattress and in a pinch, it will fit on the floor in front of the sofa. While it would not have worked for our situation, Simplicity Sofa offers an airbed option but only on their full-sized sofas. And what did we gain? A great looking well-constructed sofa that fits nicely into the space allotted. It�s far more comfortable to sit on and our choice of fabric blends well with the colors of the RV interior. Alas, the photo of the new sofa doesn�t do the subtle "Pebble Sage" color justice. We�re extremely pleased with Simplicity Sofa. A company that was easy to deal with, provided excellent customer service and delivered a product that was exactly what was promised. In fact, their products would fit well in numerous home settings regardless of space constraints. As for RVers looking to replace their stock RV furniture, we couldn�t recommend a better solution than Simplicity Sofa. Maybe it�s time to replace the swivel recliner�

Thanks Jeff- We finally got out the loveseat and all is well. Works well in the space we needed it for. We actually got a chance to take down the full size sofa that we purchased from Simplicity last year. It was really great to be able to move it with such ease. We have taken off the slipcover and want to wash it or should we dry clean it. Pebbeltex fabric....cotton???? Thanks for all you help with this Jeff, it was a cahllenge to modify a space so quickly and all your help (and great products) is so appreciated.

Hi Jeff. The sofa is great. The material and craftsmanship are really nice. There was a crack in the board where the arm rests bolt goes through. It doesn't go through to the hole and I don't think it is a big concern but I thought I should mention it just in case it ever cracks fully. Your communication has been great and I appreciate you following up on the order. I do plan on purchasing a chair and an ottoman very shortly. Maybe even this week.
